Nicolas Cage plays Dracula in a horrific

It is impossible to predict what any of Cage’s films will be because he is so prolific and unpredictable that absolutely any of his films may be anything. On top of that, not all of them are simple to forecast. For instance, among his most recent films, “Willy’s Wonderland” promised a party and a lot of waste, but it is nothing more than a collection of memes that are neither particularly good nor particularly horrible.

It was intended to be a meta-odyssey, but in the end, “The Unbearable Weight of Uncommon Talent” turned out to be a charming comedy for those who are already familiar with the genre. On the other hand, ” Pig ” turned out to be one of the most violent dramas of the year, while ” Color Out of Space ” was one of the best adaptations of Lovecraft’s works in the history of the world.

All things considered, the balance is typically in the positive. We don’t often find masterpieces of the level of “Mandy,” but there is always a Cage moment, a touch of extravagance, or a point of self-awareness that saves even his most ridiculous films. The film “Renfield” does not depict a contemporary version of Dracula; however, it does not do so from the perspective of either the vampire or the humans. Instead, it does so from the perspective of the ever-secondary character of the title, which is the vampire’s servant who consumes insects. In the novel written by Bram Stoker, Renfield is portrayed as little more than a deranged individual who engages in ranting in the asylum following his remote brush with the vampire. However, in this story, he plays a more active role, acquiring victims for his proprietor. Up until the point where, after generations of slavery, he makes the decision to break free from his bonds and from that relationship of reliance that ultimately leads to his death.

Tom Waits, Klaus Kinski, Dwight Frye, and Peter McNicol are only some of the famous actors who have performed the role of Renfield in films. ‘Renfield’ is a part of the rich heritage of cinematic Renfields, who have been played by performers who are both famous and insane. In fact, Nicolas Cage himself brought to life a Renfield character that was fictitious and extremely out of date in the film “Vampire’s Kisses,” which was both humorous and unsettling. On the other hand, he provides him with a contemporary perspective that is connected to more current parodies of Dracula, such as the series titled “What We Do in the Shadows,” which ‘Renfield’ occasionally imitates with a certain degree of shamelessness.
