Movie and TV fans of "Superman" and "Landman"

In July 2025, David Corenswet as “Superman” and Rachel Brosnahan as “Louis Lane” thrill DC superhero fans with the first trailer. The “Yellowstone” creator’s show is Paramount’s most-watched.

After watching Taylor Sheridan’s other shows, Landman season 1’s episodes were sometimes boring. The season 1 finale was great TV. All the main actors were great, Andy Garcia was great, and Demi Moore finally had a role was exciting.

Billy Bob Thornton’s lead performance is great, but Taylor Sheridan’s Landman has some issues. My biggest complaint is that it hates women, and I’m not alone. I hate how Michelle Randolph’s Ainsley (Thornton’s Tommy’s daughter) is portrayed and ogled by men. She is older in real life, but her character is seventeen, making her too young to be sexualised, especially by older men. This sometimes distracts me from the story, which should focus more on the oil rigs and less on Tommy’s hot daughter.
