Successful "single season series" curse

‘Watchmen‘ has come to a successful conclusion with a series of events that end up connecting perfectly with the comic book written by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons that serves as the show’s inspiration. One thing that is quite intriguing is that Lindelof’s ‘Watchmen’ is already a sequel to Moore’s ‘Watchmen,’ and it functions not only as a continuation, but also as an update and discussion of the original suggestions. Therefore, if Lindelof does have the million-dollar idea that he doesn’t promise he’ll have in the interview, we ought to be willing to welcome it with open arms because he has demonstrated what he is capable of doing. Despite the fact that, on paper, many fans hope that everyone stays where he is, and these nine episodes continue to be like the odd isolated gem that HBO has crowned 2019 with.
