The Marvel Cinematic Universe is moving forward with sequels at a breakneck pace, and Kevin Feige believes that this is the way things should be.

Feige has been a main producer on Marvel Cinematic Universe movies ever since the establishment of the cinematic universe. He has been in charge of a number of franchises, including Iron Man, Avengers, and Captain America. In recent years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been subjected to criticism for its lack of originality, which may be attributed to its propensity for sequels. The high content output has caused fans to experience superhero weariness. This tiredness has been partially linked to recent Marvel Cinematic Universe films that have failed at the box office, such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Marvels.

After expressing his belief that Disney creates an excessive number of sequels, he made his comments during the earnings call a few months later.

Currently, the plan to reduce the amount of content is being implemented, and the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that will be released this year is Deadpool and Wolverine, which stars Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. In the meantime, the sole television series that will be making its premiere in 2024 is Echo and Agatha All Along.

There are early indicators that Deadpool and Wolverine may provide a significant bounceback for the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the movie office, and the blockbuster that has the two of them working together has received positive reviews. The film Deadpool & Wolverine is the third installment in the Deadpool film series; however, it is not considered a threequel because it is the first to take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The previous installments took place during the 20th Century Fox era.
